Open de España Madrid 2012 together with Natasha Zvereva; they will play their first round match against Amy Frazier and Alina Jidkova.

05-23 Martina and Natasha defeated Nannie de Villiers and Laura Montalvo 6-3 5-7 6-3 today. Tomorrow they will face Argentinian Clarisa Fernandez and Italian Rita Grande in the semifinals.

This is a very special victory for Martina; this title represents both Martina's first victory of the comeback (which started two years back) and her 166° career doubles title, an all-time record... Also, Martina broke another record, becoming the oldest woman to win a WTA tour title. The previous record was held by Billie Jean King, who won her last title at the age of 39.
