Evert, in 1982 with Ann Smith, in 1986 with Andrea Temesvari and
in 1984, 1985, 1987 and 1988 with Pam Shriver.

defeated Slovakians Tina Krizan and Katarina Srebotnik 7-6 7-5 in
women's doubles; then she won her first round match in mixed doubles
together with Jan Siemerink by defeating Larisa Neiland and Cyril
Suk 7-6 6-3.

Martina and Jan Siemerink didn't overcome their
second round opponents today; unfortunately, they were defeated
6-3 6-3 by Marianne de Swardt and David Adams.

Martina's Parisian comeback ended this afternoon,
as she and Marianne lost 6-2 2-6 5-7 to Alexandra Fusai and Nathalie
Tauziat in the third round. The match had been interrupted due to
darkness yesterday, when Martina and Marianne were 6-2 1-3.

won the mixed doubles title paired with David Adams! They defeated
6-3 3-6 6-3 Australians Renée Stubbs and Todd Woodbridge.
Martina saw the match and was photographed together with little
Bina.

after the women's singles final, and held out the trophy to Mary
Pierce, who won the title defeating 6-2 7-5 Conchita Martinez.
