08-17

Martina received a wild card to play women's doubles at the Pilot Pen. She will be paired with Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik.

08-23 Martina's first match in America since the 1995 Us Open has still to be played. Maybe tomorrow, because rain today allowed only two matches. It's very interesting the fact that tournament organizers decided to put Martina's doubles match as marquèe match opening the night session, even in front of the singles ones...This never happened before in a WTA tournament!
