08-15	Martina and Arantxa won their first round match defeating Iva Majoli and Henrieta Nagyova 6-3 7-5; after the match on Centre Court, they received a standing ovation and Arantxa was tributed for her numerous appearances in the Canadian championships (11, 5 finals and 2 titles). Also, the tournament website talked about the meeting between Martina, Arantxa and Ontario's Tourism, Culture and Recreation Minister Tim Hudak to ask the Minister to support the construction of a new stadium for the tournament.
08-17	Due to Thursday's rain delays, Martina and Arantxa played two matches today, winning both of them and reaching the semifinals! Firstly, they defeated Kveta Hrdlickova and Barbara Rittner in three sets, 6-2 3-6 6-4. Then, in the evening match on Centre Court, they defeated #1 seeded Lisa Raymond and Rennae Stubbs 6-3 6-2. Tomorrow Martina and Arantxa will face Tina Krizan and Katarina Srebotnik in the semifinals.
08-18	Unfortunately, Martina and Arantxa lost today in the semifinals. They were defeated in three sets, 6-3 2-6 6-4, by Slovenians Tina Krizan and Katarina Srebotnik.
