08-25	The women's doubles draw has been released; Martina and Arantxa's first round opponents are Bianka Lamade and Patty Schnyder. Also, Martina entered the mixed doubles and will partner Max Mirnyi.
08-30	Martina and Arantxa won their first round match in two sets, defeating Bianka Lamade and Patty Schnyder 7-5 6-3. In the next round they will face Tatiana Perebiynis and Tatiana Poutchek. Tomorrow Martina and Max will play her first round mixed doubles match against Rennae Stubbs and Todd Woodbridge.
09-01	Today Martina played two matches. Firstly, she and Arantxa won their second round match defeating Tatiana Perebiynis and Tatiana Poutchek in two sets, 6-3 7-5; some hours later, she and Max lost 3-6 6-7 to # 1 seeded Rennae Stubbs and Todd Woodbridge.
09-02	Martina and Arantxa reached the quarterfinals today, by winning 6-3 6-0 against Americans Whitney Laiho and Jessica Lehnhoff.
09-04	Unfortunately, Martina and Arantxa's dream at the Us Open ended today, as they lost to Sandrine Testud and Roberta Vinci in three sets, 2-6 6-4 4-6.
