One door remains open in mixed doubles: Martina and Todd defeated
Jordan Kerr and Anousjka Van Exel 4-6 6-3 9-7. Their next opponents
are Jonas Bjorkman and Anna Kournikova; the match will not be
played until Tuesday, July 2.

Martina and Todd didn't play against Jonas Bjorkman and Anna Kournikova;
tomorrow they could be forced to play two matches. First, the
second round match against Jonas Bjorkman and Anna Kournikova,
starting on 12.00 a.m. on Court 2; then, on the same court, Martina
and Todd could face Andrew Kratzmann and Trudi Musgrave. |

afternoon Martina and Todd lost 6-3 4-6 2-6 to Jonas Bjorkman
and Anna Kournikova in a rain-affected match. Nevertheless, Martina
succeeded in breaking another record: with 293 matches, she
played more matches than anyone else in the history of Wimbledon.
